歓楽街の魅力的なデザイン Vol. 1
名古屋 中村遊廓 “桔梗屋”
大須旭廓から中村遊廓への移転を経て、戦後は特殊喫茶 カフヱーとして営業していた妓楼 “桔梗屋”。元は大正12年の木造建築でありながら昭和初期に取り入れられたアール・デコ装飾などモダン化されたデザインはまさに魅力的。遊廓建築に取り入れられた和洋折衷の意匠に焦点を当てつつ、残照すら消えてなくなりそうな旧中村遊廓の、在りし日の写真も掲載し追悼した内容となっている。桔梗屋と中村遊廓の沿革、大正から昭和初期に流行ったアール・デコやカフヱーについても簡単に解説し、時代背景と共に当時の貴重な写真も掲載。よく知られている中村遊廓の前身が大須観音のすぐ北側にあった事を名古屋の人に知ってもらいたいという想いも強い。名古屋の歴史の断片を知るキッカケになってもらえたら。

ひとつの妓楼 (娼家) だけでフルカラー222枚を掲載出来る程、この建物は見所に溢れていた。中村遊廓の失われた写真も自分で撮影したもの、写真を拝借したもの合わせ55枚を掲載。桔梗屋に負けない意匠に満ちた建物ばかり。みな解体されてしまったと思うと哀しく惜しい気持ちになる。戦後の名楽園という特殊喫茶(カフヱー)時代、中村遊廓という戦前の遊廓時代、現役当時の写真も僅かながら掲載し、写真総数315点で、思い入れのある中村遊廓と桔梗屋をまとめた。

B5 と大きくもない本に対し、5,995円は手頃な価格に思われないと思う。しかし全ページをフルカラーにし装丁や紙に拘った為、更に完全なる自己制作の自費出版である為、これがギリギリ🙏 今後 Vol.2 Vol.3 と “歓楽街の魅力的なデザイン” として出版を続けていく所存。これまで撮影した貴重な写真を埋没させず、次の制作へと向かえるよう ご理解、ご協力をお願いします🙇

First of all I would like to say terrific blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your
head prior to writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found

said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear
